1. Who we are

Theraswift Ltd is a software company based in Lagos, Nigeria. We operate theraswift.co and Aanu, a medication-information and medication-management service available through web, mobile experiences, and WhatsApp. Theraswift does not operate a pharmacy or laboratory.

For privacy questions, contact privacy@theraswift.co.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the service, we may collect:

  • Account data — name, email address, phone number, authentication details, and preferences.
  • Medication and health data — medicines, prescriptions, allergies, symptoms, conditions, reminders, and information you choose to share.
  • Partner-request data — prescription files, requested items, delivery details, partner status updates, and transaction references.
  • Communications — messages, attachments, feedback, and support conversations through Aanu, the app, or WhatsApp.
  • Technical and usage data — device, browser, IP address, identifiers, logs, pages viewed, and service interactions.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Provide medication information, records, reminders, prescription understanding, and support.
  • Personalise the service and preserve conversation or medication context you ask us to remember.
  • Route eligible requests to an independent licensed pharmacy partner and show partner updates.
  • Authenticate accounts, prevent abuse, secure the service, diagnose faults, and improve reliability.
  • Send service, safety, account, and partner-request communications.
  • Comply with applicable law and enforce our terms.

We do not sell personal or health information.

4. Medication and health information

Medication and health information can be sensitive. We limit its use to operating the service, supporting safety and human review, handling requests you initiate, and meeting legal obligations. Aanu provides general information; it does not replace professional medical care.

5. When we share information

We may share only what is reasonably necessary with:

  • Independent pharmacy partners — when you ask us to route a medication or prescription request. The partner becomes responsible for its own professional review, fulfilment, and handling of the data it receives.
  • Service providers — cloud hosting, databases, communications, analytics, security, customer support, and AI-processing providers working on our behalf.
  • Professional reviewers — authorised pharmacists or clinicians where a request needs human review.
  • Authorities or transaction parties — when required by law, needed to protect rights or safety, or connected with a corporate transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.

We do not share health information with advertisers.

6. WhatsApp and other platforms

When you use Aanu through WhatsApp, Meta processes message and account information under its own terms and privacy policy before the message reaches us. App stores, payment providers, pharmacy partners, and other platforms you choose may also process information under their own policies.

7. Cookies and analytics

We use essential storage and cookies for authentication, security, and preferences. We may also use limited analytics to understand performance and improve the service. You can control cookies through your browser, although disabling essential storage may prevent parts of the service from working.

8. Storage, security, and international processing

We use cloud infrastructure and reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls and encrypted connections. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Our providers may process information in countries other than Nigeria. Where required, we use appropriate contractual or legal safeguards for those transfers.

9. Retention

We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including safety, account operation, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. Retention periods vary by data type and relationship. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer required.

10. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to:

  • Provide access to or a copy of your personal information.
  • Correct incomplete or inaccurate information.
  • Delete information or close your account.
  • Restrict or object to certain processing and withdraw consent where consent applies.

Contact privacy@theraswift.co to make a request. We may need to verify your identity, and some information may need to be retained where permitted or required by law.

11. Children

The service is not intended for children to create accounts independently. A parent or legal guardian should manage any use involving a person under 18 and should not submit a child's information unless authorised to do so.

12. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the service changes. We will post the revised date here and provide additional notice where appropriate.
